Corfu-Summer Direct Flight.
After years of trying to persuade a UK carrier to fly directly from the UK to Corfu out of season, the German carrier, LTU, has started a twice weekly service from Düsseldorf. Corfu now has a direct winter link with Northern Europe thanks to LTU. The daytime flight operates every Tuesday and Thursday all year round.
This is an important event for the island as it will encourage all here to further develop tourism.
