Corfu-Summer Cars Terms & Conditions
1> All renters must hold an appropriate driving license.
2> We offer fully inclusive & CDW Insurance included in the price, subject to the rentee being of the appropriate age for the class of vehicle. See individual car types for minimum age requirements.
3> The insurances will be invalidated should the rentee be under the influence of alcohol or drugs whilst in charge of the vehicle.
4> All traffic & parking fines will be paid by the rentee.
5> The vehicle may not under any circumstances be driven off the island of Corfu (Kerkyra) without prior written authorization from the company.
6> At all times the vehicle must be driven by the rentee. Additional drivers are permitted as long as a prior agreement is made with us. In this event there will be a supplementary charge of 3 € per day/extra named driver.
7> Should there be an incident in which damage to the vehicle is incurred then the rentee MUST telephone the company BEFORE moving the vehicle otherwise the Full Insurance may be invalidated.
8> All vehicles are insured against theft assuming that normal security, such as closing all windows and ensuring that the vehicle doors are locked when the vehicle is unattended.
9> Loss of the ignition key IS NOT covered by the insurance. A penalty of 60 EUROS may be imposed for key replacement.
10> 24/7 Roadside assistance will be given FREE OF CHARGE for all eventualities EXCEPT in the event of running out of fuel where a 30 EURO penalty will be imposed.
11> In all cases drivers under 23 years can only be offered self-risk third party insurance.
12> The minimum age for car rental is 21 years of age.
13> The vehicle to be paid for in full on collection or when delivered to accommodation, port or airport. Payment by credit card will incur a 5% additional charge.
14> Child seats will be provided FREE of CHARGE, however prior booking is advised.
15> All our prices include distance covered. There are no Mileage/Kilometre Charges even on rental periods of under three days.
16> Fuel is the responsibility of the rentee and the vehicle must be returned with the same amount of fuel as provided at the start of the rental period.
17> Tyre & Vehicle underside damage are included in our full insurance.
18> Please ensure that when driving in Greece that you carry your passport, your driver license & the given contract with you at all times.
